Telephone lines were open for viewer calls on the question: “Have race relations improved during Obama’s presidency?” The question was inspired by an article in The Hill. A video clip was shown of President Obama talking about racial relations December 4, 2014.

Bruce Alpert, reporter with the Times-Picayune, spoke by telephone from New Orleans about the results of Louisiana’s Senate runoff election the previous day. Video clips were shown of Senator-Elect Bill Cassidy’s (R) victory speech and Senator Mary Landrieu’s (D) concession speech.
