This 1965 U.S. Army Documentary is an episode of “The Big Picture” narrated by actor Robert Taylor. The episode looks back to the 1944-45 Battle of the Bulge, and the month-long fight for the key crossroads Belgian village of St. Vith that reduced the town to rubble. The program included American and German veterans of the battle on camera in Belgium describing their experiences. This was originally part two of a two-part program.

“The Big Picture” was a television series produced for the United States Army Office of the Chief of Information by the Army Pictorial Center in the 1950s and '60s. close
