Federal Lobbying Laws
This talk was part of American University’s biannual workshop focusing on lobbying strategies used in the nation’s capital.
Attorney Joseph Sandler talked about the strengths and weaknesses in the laws governing lobbying practices, gift rules, and foreign agents. Mr. Sandler is a former general counsel of the Democratic National Committee who is also a partner with a Washington, D.C., law firm specializing in the regulation of lobbying and tax issues affecting political and advocacy activities.
