House Budget Committee Chair Tom Price (R-BA) talked about the federal budget, the deficit, and spending. He called for a rewriting of the 1974 Federal Budget Act saying it gives legislators incentive to spend more rather than less. He also argued for reducing federal regulations. Following his speech, panelists discussed the budget. They called for reforms to Social Security and Medicaid.
