Headlines from the day’s newspapers were read and telephone lines were open for viewer comments on “NASA/NOAA: 2014 Warmest Year on Record,” from a report released the previous day. Telephone lines were divided between Believe Climate Change/Climate Change Skeptic/Not Sure.

Emily Yehle, a reporter for Energy and Environment Daily, was interviewed by telephone about the report from NASA/NOAA saying that 2014 was the warmest year on record and the implications for the climate change debate.

A video clip was shown of House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) speaking January 15, 2015.

The program concluded with a video clip of Senator John Hoeven (R-ND), author of S.1, the Keystone XL Pipeline Act, being interviewed the previous day for “Newsmakers.” close
