Brian Lamb, Chairman and CEO of C-SPAN, spoke to members of the Washington Metropolitan Cable Club about the book America’s Town Hall. He talked about C-SPAN, how it’s funded, and who watches the network. Mr. Lamb cited the First Amendment and free enterprise as the two main reasons for C-SPAN’s success. He also attributed the network’s success to the fact that it offers viewers an unfiltered, unbiased look at government. close
