Senators Leahy, McCain, and Reed on Defense Secretary Nomination

Senators Patrick Leahy (D-VT), John McCain (R-AZ), and Jack Reed (D-RI) spoke about Ashton Carter’s nomination to be defense secretary, saying they would vote in favor. The Senate later voted 93-5 to confirm the nomination.
