Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson made opening remarks at day two of the White House Summit on Combating Violent Extremism. He called the current terrorist threat “more complex” than the threat than in the first few years following the attacks of September 11, 2001. He also renewed his request to Congress to fully fund his Department, the funding for which was set to expire at the end of February. close
