Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was interviewed about U.S.-Israel relations. He said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address later that day to a joint session of Congress about negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program speech was both timely and important. Senator McConnell said the Obama administration had “already given away too much” in the Iran talks and there was no question that Iran was the greatest threat to the region.

This was part of the morning plenary session of the third day of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual policy conference, held at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. close
