Senate majority and minority leaders spoke on the King v. Burwell case being argued before the U.S. Supreme Court that day challenging federal subsidies in states without their own health insurance exchanges. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said loss of subsidies could hurt, but the overall law was worse. Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said repeal of the provisions would mean turning health care decisions back to the insurance industry. close
