President Obama delivered remarks on college affordability in McCamish Pavilion at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He talked about the importance of higher education, saying it was an “investment” for the students and for their country and the economy. President Obama talked about an executive order he signed earlier in the day that would help borrowers afford their loan payments. The president’s “Student Aid Bill of Rights” directs the Department of Education and other federal agencies to work across the federal government to help borrowers afford monthly payments. close
