Secretary of State John Kerry delivered remarks about the global effort to fight climate change and the importance of 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, scheduled for November and December in Paris. He said there was no time to waste debating climate change and that inaction would lead to utter catastrophe. Topics included greenhouse gas emissions from developing nations and the need to get more energy from alternative sources.
