Food activists talked about hunger and wasted food in the U.S., and their efforts to increase food recovery. Speakers included the former president of Trader Joe’s who opened a store that sells food past its “sell-by” date.

“Recovering Wasted Food” was part of a conference sponsored by the Harvard Food Law Society and the Food Literacy Project and held in Cambridge, Massachusetts at Harvard University. close
