House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) briefed reporters and responded to questions on his party’s legislative agenda. He addressed the fiscal year 2016 House Republican budget proposal, saying he planned to have the budget on the House floor the next week and that it would reflect a higher amount of overseas war funds. He also discussed the resignation of Representative Aaron Schock (R-IL) and efforts to fix Medicare payments to doctors, which is also know as “doc fix.” In addition, Speaker Boehner urged former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to turn over her email server to an independent third party. close
