Prince Charles was presented with the International Conservation Caucus Foundation’s (ICCF) Teddy Roosevelt International Conservation Award at the annual gala at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. In his acceptance speech he acknowledged Teddy Roosevelt for starting the conservation movement worldwide. He stressed the importance of protecting the natural environment and urged continued action in combating poaching and illegal wildlife trafficking as he outlined his own conservation initiatives to create sustainable fisheries and protect the rainforest. close
