Nathaniel Weixel talked by remote video from Capitol Hill about the Medicare “doc fix” bill being considered in the House. “Doc Fix” refers a bill to prevent a cut in payments to doctors who treat Medicare patients. This was a permanent “doc fix,” something that legislators had addressed on a temporary basis 17 times before. The bill also reauthorized the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for two years. close
