Ruben Castaneda, S Street Rising: Crack, Murder, and Redemption in D.C.; Sam Quinones, Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic; Barry Siegel, Manifest Injustice: The True Story of a Convicted Murderer and the Lawyers Who Fought for His Freedom; and Deanne Stillman, Desert Reckoning: A Town Sherriff, a Mojave Hermit, and the Biggest Manhunt in Modern California History, talked about their books on crime.
