Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske talked about U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s mission and future initiatives. He outlined the key priorities of his agency, which include lawful travel and trade and ensuring transparency. In remarks, he said, “Border security remains the highest priority.” Commissioner Kerlikowske also talked about efforts to reduce use of force by agents and the progress made in decreasing the number of unaccompanied minors at the U.S._Mexico border. close
