Democratic presidential candidate Governor Bill Clinton spoke to a crowd of supporters celebrating Mexican Independence Day in the San Gabriel Valley outside Los Angeles, California. U.S. Senate candidate Dianne Feinstein spoke briefly before Gov. Clinton’s remarks. Flanked by a Mexican musical group wearing sombreros, and accompanied by his wife Hillary, Gov. Clinton recalled the recent economic problems in California and criticized the “trickle-down” economics of the Republican Party. He also called for more investment in people in the United States. close
