U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon spoke at the National Press Club about global challenges and the role of the United Nations. He called for an immediate ceasefire “by all the parties” to the violence in Yemen, and said the U.N. would do its best to implement the framework agreement in the negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. Following his remarks, he responded to questions from those in attendance. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s speech was part of the National Press Club Luncheon Series. close
