Daniel Ellsberg talked about the role of government whistleblowers. Topics included his support of Edward Snowden, his view of U.S. military operations against ISIS* militants, and the Obama administration’s response the whistleblowers. Mr. Ellsberg, the author of Secrets: A Memoir of Vietnam and the Pentagon Papers, began the interview with a brief description of his role in the Pentagon Papers.
