Nelson Denis talked about his book, War Against All Puerto Ricans: Revolution and Terror in America’s Colony, about the history of Puerto Rico and its turbulent relationship with the United States. Through oral histories, eyewitness accounts, congressional testimony and recently declassified FBI files, Mr. Denis traces the lives of key figures leading up to the Puerto Rican independence revolt of 1950. He is interviewed by Teresita Levy, assistant professor of Latin American, Caribbean and Puerto Rican Studies at Lehman College. close
