On May 7, 1915, the RMS Lusitania was sunk by a German U-boat off the coast of Ireland, killing 1,198 passengers and crew.

This commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Lusitania was held by the National Press Club and the U.S. World War One Centennial Commission at the National Press Club close
