Leigh Munsil spoke by phone about upcoming House debate on the USA Freedom Act. The bill would extend for an additional four years expiring Patriot Act provisions. It is also intended to end the National Security Agency’s (NSA) bulk collection of phone data records by requiring the agency to get a warrant every time it wants to access phone records, which would be held by telephone companies. close
