The Republican candidates in the October 3 primary for the House seat in the sixth district of Louisiana participated in a televised debate sponsored by Louisiana Public Broadcasting. Mr. Randolph spoke from the debate studio in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, while Rep. Baker and Rep. Holloway spoke via satellite from Washington, DC. The three candidates responded to questions from a single moderator on issues of concern to voters in the newly created congressional district, and also questioned each other on issues in the campaign. close
