President Obama made remarks at the 34th annual National Peace Officers' Memorial Service. The ceremony honored law enforcement officials who were killed in the line of duty in the previous year. Following the president’s remarks, the names of those officers who died were read, and their family members and friends contributed flowers to the Memorial Wreath. close
