The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism held a hearing on the benefits and costs of police body camera technology. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) testified about the importance of police body cameras and community policing, addressing the April 4, 2015, fatal police shooting of Walter Scott in North Charleston, S.C.
