Telephone lines were open for viewer calls on news of the day. Peter Sullivan reported by telephone from the site in Baltimore where former Governor Martin O’Malley (D-MD) would be announcing his candidacy for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination later that day and what his entry into the race meant for fellow Democratic candidates former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Live scenes were shown of Federal Hill Park where the announcement would be made.
