Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Director Katherine Archuleta and other government officials and vendors testified at the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s second hearing on the cause and extent of a data breach of the OPM information systems. Director Archuleta, whose leadership was challenged, disputed media reports about the number of current and former federal employees whose personal information had been taken. Eric Hess testified that there was no evidence his company, Keynote Government Solutions, was responsible for the breach. The actions of U.S. Investigations Services (USIS) were also criticized. close
