Secretary Kerry spoke about the release of the 2014 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices. The annual report examines the status of human rights in countries around the world. He highlighted new areas added to the assessment such as including human trafficking and government corruption and noted that terrorism by non-state actors made a significant contribution to recent violations. Assistant Secretary Tom Malinowski also spoke about the report and then responded to questions from reporters including about countries on the list such as Russia, Cuba, North Korea, and Bangladesh. close
