Kent Masterson Brown gave a tour of the Lexington, Kentucky, cemetery and spoke about some of the national figures who are buried there. Mr. Brown showed the Todd family burial plot, where many of Mary Todd Lincoln’s family are buried. Mr. Brown also showed the burial site of John C. Breckinridge, the 14th and youngest U.S. Vice President.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2015 LCV Cities Tour” in Lexington, Kentucky, from June 20-25 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Time Warner Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The history segments air on American History TV (AHTV) on C-SPAN3 and the literary events/non-fiction author segments air on BookTV on C-SPAN2. close
