Democratic presidential nominee Gov. Clinton stood in the rain during a stop in a three-state bus tour in the South and called for a change in the United States. Flanked by his wife, vice presidential nominee Sen. Al Gore and his wife, Gov. Clinton stood in front of a waving flag to urge his supporters to pull together to “pull the country around.” He also criticized the policies of President George H. W. Bush administration concerning the peanut program and the economy. close
