President Obama spoke at the 2015 White House Conference on Aging. 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of Medicare, Medicaid, and the Older Americans Act, as well as the 80th anniversary of Social Security, and the president talked about these anniversaries during his remarks. He also described his new policy initiative to provide retirement savings programs through the states for employees currently without workplace retirement plan options. close
