The United Nations Security Council voted unanimously to endorse the Iran nuclear agreement. The 15-member body adopted the resolution that was negotiated as part of an agreement reached last week between Iran and major world powers. The European Union also endorsed the agreement Monday. Following the vote, Security Council members and the Iranian ambassador to the U.N. delivered remarks. close
