Governors concluded the official business of their summer meeting. The host, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin was thanked for organizing the meeting. Governor Terry Brandstad previewed the 2016 summer meeting in Iowa. Governor John Hickenlooper (D-CO) turned over the chairship to Governor Gary Herbert (R-UT), who announced his chair’s initiative would be “States: Finding Solutions, Improving Lives.”
