Melissa Brown gave a tour of the Assassination of President McKinley exhibit at the Buffalo History Museum and shared items connected to the events surrounding his death, such as the gun used in the assassination. President McKinley was shot and fatally wounded by Leon Czolgosz on September 6, 1901, inside the Temple of Music on the grounds of the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York.

C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2015 LCV Cities Tour” in Buffalo, New York, from August 8-14 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Time Warner Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed.
