Telephone lines were open for calls on the 10th anniversary of the landing of Hurricane Katrina with lines reserved for residents of Louisiana, residents of Mississippi, and people displaced by the hurricane. Archival video from the C-SPAN video library was shown as well as Katrina-related events from the past week. Two New Orleans residents, Sue Sperry and Doreen Keeler-Tollerson, talked by telephone about their experiences, the difficulties still facing residents, the pace of recovery, and how New Orleans had changed. close
