Dick Cheney on Iran Nuclear Agreement
Approximately 10 minutes into the former vice president’s speech, a protestor briefly disrupted the event.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney talked about the Iran nuclear deal. He called the agreement an “intricately crafted capitulation,” and expressed his disapproval of the Obama administration’s handling of the negotiations. He stated that the agreement, rather than stopping Iran’s nuclear program, would allow Iran to modernize and expand its capabilities, and that U.S. allies in the region would be at greater risk due to the Obama administration giving in to too many of Iran’s demands.
