Michael Rhodes hosted Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and General Paul Selva at a remembrance ceremony in the Pentagon’s center courtyard for Pentagon employees to honor those killed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack. They also spoke about history of the Pentagon and the memorial there. The ceremony included the presentation of colors, the national anthem and “America the Beautiful” played by the U.S. Air Force Band, and an invocation. close
