Governor Jay Nixon (D-MO) made remarks after he was presented with the report of the Ferguson Commission on the socio-economic background of the events surrounding the police shooting of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and subsequent protests. The co-chairs of the commission responded to questions. This news conference took place on the Florissant Valley campus of St. Louis Community College.
