President Obama spoke at a quarterly meeting of the Business Roundtable, an association of chief executive officers from top U.S. companies. He urged Congress to pass a budget and avoid a government shutdown before the end of fiscal year 2015 on September 30, 2015. He also said that cybersecurity issues would be part of his upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi, saying that if China continued to engage in industrial espionage and steal U.S. companies' proprietary information, the U.S. was prepared to act “in order to get their attention.” close
