Pope Francis arrived at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle for the Midday Prayer of the Divine Office. During the prayers he addressed the assembled U.S. bishops. He spoke about the church’s sex molestation scandal and called for the Catholic hierarchy to offer assistance to the victims of the crimes.
