Angela Stent talked about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s authorization of a military campaign in Syria with the expressed goal of driving out ISIS.* Topics included President Obama’s meeting earlier in the week at the United Nations with President Putin.

At the conclusion of the program, a portion of a “Saturday Night Live” was shown. The skit included characterizations of former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton. The former secretary of State also appeared in the clip, portraying herself.
