Welcoming remarks were made for President Obama’s appearance at a community forum in Charleston, West Virginia, on prescription drug abuse and heroin addiction. Governor Earl Ray Tomblin (D-WV) talked about the measures taken in his state to curb drug abuse. The state of West Virginia had the highest drug overdose death rate in the nation.
