Keith Huxen, senior director of research and history for the National World War II Museum, responded to viewer comments on the soldiers' experiences in the European theater during World War II, focusing on D-Day and the liberation of Europe. He spoke from the C-SPAN 2016 Campaign Bus parked outside the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before this program a taped “American Artifacts” program was shown featuring the museum exhibit “The Road to Berlin.” This was part of live and taped coverage from the National World War II Museum in New Orleans commemorating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. close
