Seth Paridon gave a tour of an exhibit in the National World War II Museum commemorating the final mission of the USS Tang submarine. The boat sank 33 Japanese ships in five missions before she was sunk by one of her own torpedoes on October 25, 1944. Commander Richard O’Kane was awarded the Medal of Honor for the final mission which took the lives of all but nine of the crew. close
