The Brookings Institute held a forum sponsored by the Washington Area Forum on Economic reform. The question to the panel, “Will America Regain Economic Leadership at Home and Abroad?” The panel discussed the U.S. Economic Challenges, both domestic and foreign. Economists put forward proposals to increase U.S. competitiveness in foreign markets and revitalize the American economy. TThe panel members responded to questions from the audience following their prepared remarks. close
