The committee heard testimony on the second of four final days of hearings on American POW/MIAs following the Vietnam and Korean Wars. The committee heard from three panels of representatives of various veterans and public relations groups on private efforts to raise money and investigate reports of missing American POW/MIAs in Southeast Asia. Issues brought up in the hearing included the illicit industry of creating false photographs and other evidence of American POW/MIAs in order to make money from the families of POW/MIAs. Mr. Compton read the deposition of Marilyn Price of Creative Advantage, who was unable to attend the hearing. close
