Members of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs spoke in a news conference to announce the release of their report on the status of the investigation into American servicemen reported missing in Southeast Asia following the Vietnam War. Senator Kerry announced the report would not close the issue, and also stated the report found “no compelling evidence” of surviving American servicemen in Southeast Asia. close
