He and his family were leaving for Washington, DC to prepare for inaugural activities, and the inauguration on January 20, 1993. Governor Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton were presented with the City of Little Rock flag and a picture of the Arkansas governor’s mansion by the mayor of Little Rock. The Governor shook hands with supporters prior to boarding a plane to Virginia.
